Gossip by Isaac Chee

What is gossip?

•“to sip”

•a person who habitually reveals personal or sensational facts about others

•rumour or report of an intimate nature

•a report (often malicious) about the behaviour of other people

Why do you gossip?

•you are ‘concerned’

•‘sharing is caring’

•you privately enjoy hearing about other people’s life

•it helps you to be more popular

•you just have nothing better to do in life

What is wrong with gossip?

•it may be true at first, but…eventually…

•it betrays confidence

•someone will get hurt

•a person who gossips to you, will gossip about you

•words are hard(if not impossible) to be reversed
